Mahindra e-Verito sedan has just launched in India at Rs 9.5 lakh. The car is based on Mahindra’s slow-selling Verito sedan. Like the Mahindra e2o, the e-Verito runs on electricity alone. Mahindra e-Verito comes in 3 models:- D2, D4 and D6.
Mahindra e-Verito D2 priced Rs 9.5 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), this is the base model. Mid-trim D4, priced at Rs 9.75 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and top model D6 trim priced Rs 10 lakh. The Mahindra e-Verito earlier showcased at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo. This is a well modified and fully electric version of the Mahindra Verito sedan.
Mahindra e-Verito powered by an efficient 72V electric motor, which produces 41PS of power and peak torque figure of 91Nm. You will get top speed of 86kmph for the e-Verito on ride. Once charged the car can easily travel 110 kilometres.
Eight hours is the charging time for e-Verito. This is the main drawback of this car. The vehicle in top trim offers a faster charging mode which brings the charging time down to six and a half hours. This facility available with top end D6 trim (Rs 10 lakh) of the e-Verito .
