Qualcomm introduces IPQ8074 802.11ax SoC, QCA6290 Dual-band 2×2 802.11ax SoC to boost Wi-Fi. This is specially made for routers and clients. Qualcomm IPQ8074, its latest 2GHz quad-core 802.11ax integrated SoC expected to be offer maximum capacity, range and performance. This is a great option for the next generation of enterprise access points, carrier gateways and consumer routers.
Qualcomm IPQ8074 packed with 2 GHz quad-core (4x ARM Cortex A53) CPU based on 14 nm FinFET process tech. There is WiFi of 802.11ax (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), 12×12 (8×8 5GHz + 4×4 2.4 GHz). Wi-Fi Features are MU-MIMO, OFDMA, 1024 QAM, Advanced QoS, Uplink scheduling, TxBF and Wi-Fi SON etc. There is DDR4, DDR3L memory and Serial NOR and NAND flash.
