Reliance Jio working on its own DTH service

Earlier Reliance Jio DTH set top box images were leaked. This is packed with HDMI support, capability for 4K recording streaming in Ultra HD 2160p, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Google Chrome Casting, remote control, RF-45 Ethernet cable, and Android TV functionality.

They may offer the DTH service with Jio Fiber Broadband. Jio is busy with distributing optical fiber links under the ground in the urban areas. Jio DTH launch date will be after April 2017. Reliance Jio DTH will provide 432 channels via the set top box.

This includes 350 normal SD channels and others will be HD channels in 4K resolution. List of channels includes Colors TV, Sony, Star Network, ZEE Network, Star Spots, Ten Sports, DD Spots, ABP News, ZEE News, Aaj Tak, India News, other regional channels and English movie channels.

Reliance Jio DTH expected to be priced between Rs. 180 and Rs. 200 per moth. They may offer cheapest cost as the 4G services. There is a chance to announce Welcome Offer with free services for a minimum of three months. Jio DTH service packs list may includes:- JIO DTH Basic Home Pack, JIO Platinum Pack for DTH, JIO DTH My Plans (with customized channels), JIO Silver DTH Plans and JIO DTH Gold Pack. 

Reliance Jio DTH Normal Pack plans may priced Rs. 49 to Rs. 55. The All Spots Channels (HD) priced Rs. 60 to Rs. 69 and Value Prime Channels priced Rs. 120 to Rs. 150. For Kids Channels – Rs. 180 to Rs. 190 and My Family Pack – Rs. 200 to Rs. 250 and My Plan – Rs. 50 to Rs. 54. The MY Sports plan priced Rs. 159 to Rs. 169 and Big Ultra Pack – Rs. 199 to Rs. 220. There will be a Metro Pack at Rs. 199 to Rs. 250 and Dhoom pack at Rs. 99 to Rs. 109.
